Event Overview
Over three nights the Mythic Film Festival will
introduce audiences to some of the best mythic
filmmakers working today. Each night will showcase
2-4 films (depending on length), introduced by a unique
performance combining theater, cinema, art and audio.
The Wild Hunt is a unique performance to be shown
before the films each night. Written and directed (and
partly filmed) by Lisa Stock, with music and audio by
Lucien Desar, and projected images and props by
Connie Toebe. The story is set in 19th century New
York, and follows a doctor – a man of science and
reason - coming to terms with an unexpected encounter,
seeing him take on the archetypes of man vs. nature/
man vs. man/ man vs. his own nature.
